Epıdemıology and Demography of Open Globe Injury In Chıldren

Objective: To reveal the epidemiology and demographics of open globe injury in children. 
 Methods: In study, medical files 185 patients aged 15 years younger who applied to Dicle University Faculty Medicine Ophthalmology clinic between April 2017 2019 with were retrospectively analyzed. Patients classified according age, gender, etiology trauma, location time trauma recorded. Results: A total eyes children included this study. Of children, 111 (60%) boys 74 (40%) girls. The mean age was 7.26 ± 3.80 years. our hospital 1-36 hours after İnjury. 101 (54.5%) injuries right eye 84 (45.5%) left Regarding localization injuries, there 131 (70.8%) corneal, 32 (17.3%) corneoscleral, 9 (4.9%) limbal, 13 (7%) scleral cases.
